I see Devilfish recently updated their terms and conditions on 30 Apr 10 and there are some changes on there that I'd advise players to read.

I've often made many comments in the past regards 'moans' people make regarding sites; whether it be depositing or withdrawal issues. I've always pointed out in the past that as an individual, despite affiliate promotion, it is always your responsibility to make sure you are happy with T&Cs as you tick the box to say you accept the 'limitations' of the site. I personnally don't examine them fully but give a cursory glance and suck it up as I go along.

So, DF 'changed/updated' their TORs and here's one of the rules that I think is worth noting:

24. Devilfish Poker reserves the right to cancel your player account for any justifiable reason whatsoever at any time without notice to you. If you do not access your Devilfish Poker account by "logging in" to your account for a period of twelve (12) months, Devilfish Poker will charge the account a monthly administrative fee amounting to 10 % of the funds for as long as you have funds on the account or until you access your account by “logging in” again. Such requirement for log-in and entry is not and does not constitute any requirement whatsoever for you to play any game, deposit funds or participate in any activity at Devilfish Poker other than logging in.

The link in the first paragraph gives all their T&C's and I'd also note item 21 for those who have a bankroll or thinking of building one up and wonder why they need to provide so much documentation etc. This rule to me isn't about one withdrawal exceeding 2000 but an accumulation of small withdrawals that comes into effect when the last exceeds 2000.

I've pointed out item 24 here as a consideration for all pokerbanter members to maybe consider looking at other sites as well as I'm sure that this could be a clause that may get inserted into other T&Cs in the future. I've got several accounts and a few have some cash in them and not been touched for some time and I know several others on here might have similar accounts but whilst you may not be interested in them at the moment you'd still be disappointed in the future if the poker site instigated this legislation and took the cash you had in there away.

This happened to me with neteller; one reason I got rid of them. The issue there was my account was locked and when I contacted them I had 3 weeks to activate my account to avoid penalty. I had to provide documentation, make calls and receive calls and the latter was the one they never honoured within those 3 weeks causing me to incur penalty!!! I'd hazard most poker sites will require you to do similar things and the nett result you lose the cash anyway so check out the T&Cs on signup and on a regular basis thereafter.

anyway, a few weeks ago I realized that despite I withdrawn all my funds from DF I still had some hard earned VIP points ... so decided to use them and get some cash from DF to ease off my traumatic memories about Gran Canaria satellite , it wasn't much, just over 160 but enough to buy me in into 4 tournaments for 40 VIP's with 100 euros GTD prize, in my last attempt I won 5 eu and believe me I'll make thousands from it, just give a bit of time you greedy DF bastardos!!!

Some not so good information:

It was announced Thursday that the Entraction Network will begin blocking players from Canada, Israel, Norway, Russia, and Turkey. The ban will go into effect on Sept. 29. Players in those countries will no longer be able to play on the network that houses sites like Devilfish.com, VictorChandler.com, and Betsson.com.

Earlier this year, the Entraction Network was acquired by International Game Technology, one of the leading companies in computerized gaming development. In May, Entraction CEO Peter Åström was quoted saying that the acquisition would “[strengthen] Entraction’s opportunities for success when the US market opens."

No reason on why the five countries would be blocked has been given.

it looks like Devilfish improved their customer service, I had my account verified and money transfered to moneybookers account in very short time, I've send them documents 9pm and had a reply after 5min that they were not in color so I've send them again and in the morning my account was verified - then I did a withdrawal and had my money by noon same day, lol, positively surprised
